Given the way flaming goes on in this forum, I'm hoping this isn't a newb question. Can I move a creation I did in a slate type of map to a different one . . . bedroom for example?

You could, but it would float or go through the terrain/bedroom if you loaded it from Slate to Bedroom

Is there any way around this?

If you could get Mission Editor working, you could try selecting the bricks and moving them, but back in v8, i tried moving bricks with Mission Editor, the bricks moved, the collision didn't, so it was messed up, so that don't work, if you have the Duplicator Add-On and your build is all one thing, you could select any of the bottom pieces (Or just the very bottom part you started with, like a plate or something), and move it up to the Bedroom floor and then place the duplication there, otherwise, there is no way around it

I'll attempt the mission editor thing right now . . . as far as the duplicator (which I have) how would I duplicate the objects in one map, load another, and paste them?

You load your save from the Slate map into the Bedroom map, then you use the Duplicator to select your build (If it's all one thing, as i've previously said) and move it to a new location where it can be placed

Ah I misunderstood. The problem here is that it's not actually bedroom . . . it's islands of brickland and for some reason, it won't load any of the bricks from my save.

However, it will load the demo house from the bedroom . . . so I figured I would load the demo house in slate (worked) then place the blocks I want where the demo house is. I saved the blocks then tried loading that into the map . . . still 0.

Maybe I'm just out of luck in this case.

Wow, that's strange, a save is supposed to load in any map, i dunno what's the matter there, sorry

Well, I appreciate the help. I actually got it to load ok eventually . . . I just positioned the map correctly in slate, loaded and saved it in bedroom, then loaded it in the island map. Worked out great . . . thanks for everything including our patience.
