Because I do it pixel by pixel. I wouldn't take a screen shot for every pixel I place. Although, I will admit, I have copied an eye over to get it equal, but most of the time I don't.

Heres mine. I didn't use your tut but its still a pixel face.

It was made entirely in paint excluding the transing of the image.

I used dithering to shade it basicly its like your exept checkered. copy the image to see it better if you want.
