three files in that folder move to the data folder in common/fallout 3

then use the screen that appears when you start with the games list link in steam to enable them

Thats what I am *trying* to do.

After having to manually install the patch (auto LIVE system didn't work of course) it "installed" the content pack. Supposably I should get a radio signal telling me where to go after a few minutes in game...nothing has happened yet.

Even worse...installing LIVE has erased all of my old saves.  >:(

That's why you install LIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

It's pretty much Steam without the fact that its slower and you can't see the description of the achievement.

Why the forget would I want LIVE except to get these loving exclusive content packs?

Furthermore...what damn reason could there be for erasing all of my saves? >:O

RW is pissed off now. Very pissed off.

Useless LIVE client now on my machines...had to pay $12 for points I hardly need...to buy a content pack that should be available elsewhere...for a content pack that doesn't work for me....and it deletes all of my saves.  ARGH

Hmm...all may not be lost. It appears that the saves aren't really deleted...they just don't appear because when signed into LIVE it only references saves made into a folder with your screen name.

I have moved over my old saves into the folder...hopefully that should at least fix the saves issue.

Yay just beat it. You get a stuffload of awesome stuff at the end. I can't wait for the 3rd DLC either!

check the offical Fallout 3 fourms. I think they have stuff there about your problem.
