If you use the W7 beta, post some of your experiences and what you think about it.

I really like it so far, I'm just zipping right through things that would take a tad bit longer in Vista. I really like the look of it, too.

I'm getting it after I have a blank DVD and 4 GBs of RAM.

What I'll probably do is use the Vista that I bought with the RAM and upgrade it from XP, so then I can upgrade from Vista to W7.

Unless you can't upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit.

The downloads are closing down soon. I would just download whichever version you plan on using; download both if you think you have to.

That way you have the key and iso that you can just burn at your own time.

@Hyrax: That's your router, not Windows.

I decided to get a new operating system when I get a new computer. So that is my opinion and status on this whole operating system thing. Really, I am content with XP. It works so why bother?

^ I agree, this new Windows 7 thing sounds more like one of those Windows 2000/NT crap that no one used.

I went down without a fight and smoothly transitioned into Vista, no problem.

Everyone gives Vista so much stuff, I like it.

I've actually heard that Windows 7 is really good.

Nah, upgradelol upgrade to xp joketo 95. All the newer versions are crap.

Windows 7 is WAY better than XP. Vista not so much. 7 has all the features of vista and more, but optimized to use less memory and take up less space. It's only 15gigs total. If you have vista, I strongly suggest you dual boot it to see the differences.
