Welp that's one way to put it, but here's what I noticed popping up more and more. I really find the moronic people are the ones getting attention for being atheist, just doing it for the publicity and nothing else. Basically creating an image around disproving/proving higher intelligence. Using someone elses way of thinking to grab publicity and making a quick buck off of it, or being a douchebag in other words.
Which is a crock of stuff really; really if you have nothing better to do than bash religion, you really should rethink your life's plan. I have nothing against Atheist people or why they tend to come to that conclusion, it's the headlining morons that spur all the handicapped bullstuff we come to know as the media.
Really I could give less than two forgets about "God" being mentioned in the United State's Pledge of Allegiance. But leave it to some richardwad that wants to write a book about his kid getting a detention for not saying "God", and then going onto CNN/Fox/MSNBC and bitching to the Jesus Freaks.
It's as if Atheists in general have a vendetta against every religion known to man, and will stop at nothing to rain on people's parades. Fanatics and Zealots are one thing, the rest are just people going by tradition.
