where do i install addons in windows vista?
right now, im installing in C: Blockland/add-ons

just got a new comp. saved all my addons from old computer and dled them on my new one.

Yeah, that's where you should be downloading them to.

Btw, you can only use zipped add-ons in games you host, not the unzipped ones you download from other servers. If you already have all the zipped add-ons a server that you are joining has, you won't download the unzipped version.

hmmm... i just found out it works dling directly from the in-game rtb thingy...

A lot of people don't have RTB and haven't found its usefulness. I absolutely love in-game downloading, so I don't have to keep going back and forth between a mod page and Add-Ons board and keeping tab of the ones I will download.
