I had an awesome dream today :D Probably since i was playing around with the striders in Gmod Waay too much
I dreamed that i was playing a source mod called Tripod Survival, and as the name suggests, you try to survive from these creatures from War of the Worlds, they looked like the movie's version, not jeff wayne's .
Simple, you were in a loving massive city, and there were 3 of them around, searching for players to kill, you either had to survive, which might involve running to the nearest subway intil the tripods find you, or fight like a man.
Of course, in the dream i chose to hide since i haven't found any weapons yet, i went to a building and hid on the third floor, when i looked out the window,. one of the tripods suddenly saw me, it began shooting the building to pieces, so yeah, i had to escape before the ceiling will probably collapse.
Then, after some running, i bumped into all the other players together, we had the idea of going to the city wasteland since the tripods have never been there, so we got a car and drove off, fast.
Everything was great at first, but suddenly we heard the tripod horn (Look it up on youtube, it's awesome and loving SCARY) and a leg of a tripod went through the building, impaling one of the other players who died shortly, we had to move on, but it was too late, ground troops already came down to kill us..
Damn, i wish that HL2 mod was real, it would be real fun D: (Especially if it had a mode where you can be a tripod :3)
Yeah, this was an awesome dream, but sadly, with all of those destructable buildings, this may probably be too laggy to be possible.
