welp, i WAS going to port forward, but my netgears password forgeted up so i reset my router, well... then i had to reinstall it, but now it gets as far as the installation of the damn thing and then it fails when it tries to connect (the connection light blinks green but when i press next it flashes orange and fails) so i said screw it and just replugged the modem back into the tower, so its a bad good thing

the bad: i cannot connect to Xbox live for awhile

the good: i cant host BL again

...

its mainly a bad

so anyone know why my router forgeted it self?

I tried to install some custom firmware on an old router of mine, and it starting smoking :D
It doesn't work, but w/e, it only broadcasts b.

Your router seems like it could work again with some fiddling. My router is completely broken :D

I believe I put in the wrong power cord, as it was very old and just grabbed something that fit. Silly Digmaster.

Oh well, I got a shiny wifi N one now, so everything's fine.
