It's taking way to long to authenticate my BL-ID

I had this problem on my old computer and I never realy figured it out but i had somthing to get around it Try to not restart or turn off your computer this might help if not im stumped.

Yesterday there was a period for me when the master server was down, and my ID took about a minute to authenticate.

Did yours have trouble connecting to RTB as well?

RTB was just down for a bit because it was moving.
It's supposed to be back up.

Your network could be being slowed down by someone.
Ask everyone who uses the internet in your house to minimize bandwidth.
