If you have to denote that you were being sarcastic in a post, then you have no sense of humor whatsoever. It completely ruins the point of the post and just makes you look handicapped. If someone takes you seriously, you can either make them out to be an idiot for not realizing your sarcasm, or just simply tell them after a misconception has occurred. Stop doing it.

Jk, well you raise a good point. I only did the /sarcasm thing once but it was on phnobias (spelling) because of the noobs and sarcasm there.

Here we have 2 people.

- The types that are actually making a sarcastic joke
- The types that aren't joking and are likely to take their post back as Sarcasm later if they're called out for it.

95% of the folk come in the second flavor.

Then you have the other folk

- People who "get" it.
- People who don't get it, get confused, call people out randomly without really thinking and just stirring stuff up.

People will usually call out the people who are actually Joking.

You see a problem? Basically the stupidity levels are too high, so people have to highlight what they're doing in enough detail for others to actually comprehend. It's a safety method.
