There's nothing wrong with hating certain religions, no matter how good/right they may seem to you.
HATING in any form is wrong.

I don't hate the whoel Christian ideal, I just hate the Christians who think that the Bible proves that Jesus existed AND was the son of god, I have no disputes over a man named "Jesus" existing, it's the fact that he was the son of god that I don't believe.
Don't hate any Christians, just disagree respectively. And there is abundant proof to prove Jesus was the son of God.

That's ancient bullstuff. It's not going to happen.
It's happening already; the world won't end in 2012, but the world is already falling apart.

I hate christians too, especially fundamentalists.
I hate Christians, and your spelling blows.
Don't hate us.

You're just a loving Christian bitch who thinks everyone should be nice and peaceful.
WELCOME TO THE INTERNET
Excuse me? I'm Christian, and there is logical reasons behind our beliefs; it is cohesive. Prove that there is necessity in an objective reality to promote being mean and unpeaceful.

I am Christian, and I think Ibanz is an starfish, but you are a complete dumbass...
Same here, and don't demean him if you are a Christian, just point out his errors.

i loving hate christian cigarettes. i hope they get buttraped and die
/trolls
Why, I'm sure you have a mountain of logic and reason to back this up. It seems you base your statement on the misguided Christians who are not really Christian.

2. Real Christians do not believe the end times are near.  The correct belief according to the Bible is that no one ever knows.

And, because of this post I have made, it is my duty to say:

INB4FLAMEWARZ!!!1!!
Well the Bible does state that the end times will occur and gives a list of situations to confirm this, and if anyone reads the news most of them have already taken place or are currently happening. And if anyone starts a flame war then it is clear that they are illogical and foolish. This can be debated in a mature manner. Also enough with "hating" Christians; if you "hate" anyone then your a moron.

-More dribble-

I never said Christianity is bad, but people like you representing the religion is a sad story all on it's own.

Well the Bible does state that the end times will occur and gives a list of situations to confirm this, and if anyone reads the news most of them have already taken place or are currently happening.

Okay, BREAKDOWN.

Yes, the Bible does state the end times will occur.

Yes, the Bible gives a list, however ambiguous and easy to misunderstand, of situations that will happen before the end times.

NO, none of the things that has been stated in the Bible as situations before the end times has happened in the news today, nor will it ever happen BECAUSE:

The first "end times" that Jesus talks about before the ascension happened in 70 A.D. with the fall of Jerusalem to Rome.
If you want verses, PM me, because this is the standard view, and the ONLY view that makes any sense whatsoever.

The second "end times" that the apostles talk about is misunderstood completely by a lot of folks.

Just for example, as you can PM if you want to really talk about this, when Paul says "it is the last hour", he doesn't mean the end times are near, he means (in the original greek), that this is the last age before the end times.

Remember, Jesus said he will come "like a thief in the night".  No one knows when the end times will occur, or even have a general idea if it's gonna happen sooner or later.

Folks, Ghost has a view that is not representative of real Christianity, in respect to the end times.

No offense to you Ghost.

I don't know what I'm talking about anymore.
Give it up, the Bible is subjective.

I can't win, maybe I can bully him out of his view without using evidence or any form of debate.

Who are you to say whether the Bible is subjective or not?  The Bible has never been proven wrong.  And it's not gonna be proven right for a long time.  I choose to believe the Bible until it is proven wrong, rather than not believe it until it's proven right.

Who are you to say otherwise?
This well never runs dry.
I'm a Catholic and you went as far as to call the religion I am apart of wrong.
So as far as I am aware you are naive.

EDIT:
I choose to believe the Bible until it is proven wrong, rather than not believe it until it's proven right.

This is where your faith loses all of it's ground. You only believe in your religion because you are scared of your God not showing you any mercy if you are skeptical when one of the prospects of Christianity is forgiveness.
forget off and go back to sunday school.

I never said your religion was wrong.  Yours is just a different religion than Christianity, because when using Christianity's doctrines, your religion is not Christianity.

The Bible says it is not subjective, and if I'm supposed to believe the Bible, I have to believe that as well.  If you believe the Bible is subjective, then you don't believe the Bible.
It's not my decision or anybody's decision whether the Bible is subjective.  It's the Bible's.  As simple as that.

Well is dry now, unless you have something else to say.

And name calling is not a part of debating, thanks.

I edited my post so that I wouldn't have to read my opponent's edit.

No, I believe in my religion BECAUSE of forgiveness.  I know if I'm skeptical, and trust me, I am sometimes, that God will forgive me.  You believe in Catholicism because you live in fear that forgiveness is not enough, so you run the rat race trying to make your infinitely sinful manhood worth getting into heaven.

There you go again with the whole "Christianity is right, everything else can go to hell" logic.
So we try to live a sin free life, boo hoo.
I'm sure that goes against everything ever taught to you growing up.

Guys lets debate this logically, let's not argue.

My views ARE of real Christianity, you can't make your own sense of it. And I'm not saying we know when the end times will occur, but it is logical that the world being the way that it is (and it keeps getting worse), something immense will occur soon because it has to.

Also:
The temple is being considered to be rebuilt.
A New World Order is plastered on our currency and is being pushed, probably thanks to the John Burch society.
A Red Herring has been discovered.
If the economy collapses, and it most likely will, it would be logical to create a one world currency.
Earthquakes and natural disasters have increased.
Information has increased.
Technology has improved.
The planet is getting warmer.
...just to name a few.

Give it up, the Bible is subjective.
Not really; there are just a lot of false prophets that manipulate the gospel, thus other people find fault in it. I have been challenging the Bible (because we should challenge all beliefs to filter truth), and everything adds up perfectly so far, it is completely cohesive.

I never said your religion was wrong.  Yours is just a different religion than Christianity, because when using Christianity's doctrines, your religion is not
Catholicism is a subdivision of Christianity; how can it be different when it's based on Christianity?

I'm sure that goes against everything ever taught to you growing up.

I'm pointing out the errors in your logic, and defending mine.  That's called debate.  Get over it.

You can try to do the same thing, instead of calling me names and bashing me for actually trying to debate with you.  If I can't defend my position [exaggeration]or saying it's right[/exaggeration], and point out the fallacies in your position [exaggeration]everything else is stupid[/exaggeration], there's no debate.  It's us yelling at each other.

And that's exactly it, you TRY to live a sin free life.  You know you can't.  Please, hundreds of years of fallacious popes guaranteed that.

Guys lets debate this logically, let's not argue.

Jesus said himself that that was allegorical.  Jesus IS the temple, at the resurrection it was rebuilt.

Does the Bible really say that the last times involve having a New World Order? Of course not.

A Red Herring has been discovered.

What?

Quote
Earthquakes and natural disasters have increased.

No, they haven't.  Do you know how many natural disasters have happened pre-1600s?  Of course not, no one kept too many records, and records have been lost, etc.

Quote
Information has increased.

That's a good thing.  The world is getting better.

Technology has improved.

Again, that's another good thing.

The planet is getting warmer.

I hate debating this.  No one ever listens, they just listen to the "consensus", but try actually doing some research.  Global Warming is not real.

The Bible does NOT teach the world is getting worse, and it's obvious it isn't.  The world is way better than it was before.

-post-
I understand where you are coming from.
It's scary to think something immense could happen, and it's even scarier to think it will.
We have skeptics all around us and no one knows the truth, believers and non-believers.
I think that's the scariest part of it all.

Everyone should try to live a sin free life, the fact that it's not possible isn't a reason to give up, live
in sin and leech off of God's forgiveness.

I know what a debate is, I also know what a broken record sounds like,
so try not to go off topic with the fundamentals of a debate, I know it's hard for you but give it a shot.

Don't get me wrong. I try to live as sin free as I can.  But Catholicism requires a sin free life because Catholicism states that Christ's death was not enough to atone for our sins.  Later, they said that you can leech the excess goodness from folks who DID live a sin free life, now called saints.

THAT'S what I'm saying is wrong.

Everyday I wake I kiss the popes toe's and feel god's love rush into my soul.
How did you know?
