I would like to know how you all are able to post pictures directly to a page, not a link. If somebody could please post instructions, that would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE STAY ON TOPIC. I really need the help so...yeah. thanks.

You upload to a site like Majhost, Photobucket, ImageShack, or Tinypic, then you get the url to the picture and put int between image tags("").

For example this:

Would display as this


Or do you mean uploading to a picture in your post to do that just go to additional options and attach a file.

I would suggest not using ImageShack, and if your in a hurry use TinyPic.
