Author Topic: S.H.S. Polaris Mk II  (Read 2317 times)

Here it is ladies and gentlemen. After taking your suggestions into account, I have constructed the Polaris Mk II. In order to make it easy to compare with the original, I have drawn the Mk II in the same style and perspective. This is the original;

And this is the Mk II. The symbol on the tail got a little blured, but oh well.

EDIT:
Forward view as requested:

This was drawn on different paper than the original and wasn't shaded (I forgot, oopsies)
The lines may look a bit grainy because the image was zoomed 3x it's original size.

Please post your comments and suggestions. My goal is always to improve. But this time, let's see if we can tell me how to improve without flaming me.

It's nice.  I wish you drew it coming at you or something.

like I said, I wanted this picture to be easy to compare. I'll make a forward view later, but it wont be as cool.

EDIT:
I'd appreciate it if you could define "nice"

nice  (ns)
adj. nic·er, nic·est
1. Pleasing and agreeable in nature: had a nice time.
2. Having a pleasant or attractive appearance: a nice dress; a nice face.

<facepalm

What I mean is, could you explain HOW it is nice, and how it is better than the last?

and how it is better than the last?
It isn't.  And just so we have something clear, I never said the first drawing was bad, I just said it was simple to draw.  In fact, I even said "It's a good drawing."

I want to see it coming at you please.

I'll make a forward view later
Just do it now.  The drawing you just did was pointless, now we want to see action shots.

The first one kind of looks like the interior of the second one. I like the second one more.

OMG UR A GENIUS

Yeah the second one is pretty sweet

Fleh, something about I don't really like, one thing I can spot though is the lines are a bit grainy and thick, maybe try using a bit more sharp pencil. Anyways it's pretty cool looking, better than the first.

Did you use a ruler to make the straight lines? Also, did you just put random shapes together to make it?
