Did you use a ruler to make the straight lines? Also, did you just put random shapes together to make it?
No to both. It was all free-hand and I had the shape in my mind already. The armor pieces were somewhat random, though, I assembled them the way that worked best, but the overall shape was on purpose.
The first one kind of looks like the interior of the second one. I like the second one more.
Actually, the scaffolding type look of the first one was on purpose. It was supposed to be like a shape made out of robotic scaffolding armor, almost like a Borg Cube.
