Author Topic: Server could not verify your Blockland ID HELP ME!  (Read 6489 times)

Ok, this happend about 3 weeks and i can't find any solution to this for the 3 whole weeks.
I started playing blockland every since V8 came out. After a few weeks later, it got updated into V10 and everytime i join a server this pops up "Server could not verify your Blockland ID" and it makes me unable to join the server :o.
I did the followings : Port fowarding, putting down my key over and over, playing on diffrent computers and stuff, typing this in my console : trace();auth_Init_Client();.
Thus, by looking at this too, http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=59788.0
Any help please?
Oh yeah, i forgot, other people can't join my server due to this.

Firewall might be blocking it. try to turn it off.

You live in Singapore, a country in which uses HTTP proxies to censor your internet access.  This doesn't work with the Blockland authentication system since you're joining games using a different IP address than the one the master server saw when you authenticated.  It may be possible for me to fix this, but I will need some information from you.

Goto this page: http://badspot.us/dumb/proxyDetect.asp

Then copy and paste what it displays into this thread.

This is what I got:
HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR =
REMOTE_ADDR = 202.156.13.232
HTTP_VIA =

Well bad news, the proxy server doesn't identify itself as a proxy.  So there's no quick fix for this.  I might work something out for v11 but no guarantees.  In the meantime I suggest you overthrow the government or move to a free country.

Oh well, i'll just have some patience and wait for V11... Better than overthrowing the goverment or moving to a free country just for my proxy internet and stuff.

use proxy.singnet.com.sg at port 8080, if you unable to access the 2wire after this setting, check the "bypass proxy server for local addresses".

It might not fix the problem you are facing now, but do update folks here with the result or outcome.

Hi. I tried this. I think it's working, the proxy server IP address is no more changing when I access http://whatismyipaddress.com/. Also I can browse the forum without needing to re-login every few pages. So the proxy address will still change after awhile or after I reset the modem or will it stay that way permanently?

I hope it stays this way and no future problems arise. Thank you so much for all the help guys, this problem has been giving me a headache for almost half a year since I switched to Singnet mio.

Btw I added a screenshot of my current settings. Do I need to add or remove anything else? Under "No proxy for:" I only added 10.0.0.1 because it's my default gateway for my 2wire modem. "localhost" and "127.0.0.1" were there by default. is there a more generalized input so that I don't need to enter a new number everytime I change my router address on the gateway page?
