How do i set up teams in minigames?

I need some infos because i wanna make teams in minigames to play team deathmatches.
I've tried with MinigamePlusPlus but it didn't satisfy me. Are there any other ways of impletenting teams in minigames? Can you give me the links for the addons?

Yes you could do that, but there is always friendly fire on and the names do not distinguish teams by color
