Author Topic: Airport(WIP approximately 24% with more pictures Image Heavy)  (Read 2555 times)

This is my first project build for blockland(I said wow too). This is also my first build I'm posting in the gallery. I have been working on it for 4 Days now. I haven't got much time to build it but I though it could be interesting to see the proccess(yes it may be a slow proccess but in 2 weeks or so it'll be done). Step 1 was drawing it out, I have done that but my scanner doesn't work so I can't upload it, maybe a next time. Every 10% I will post a picture of its progress, also that'll give me time for improvements and changes. Please constructive critism only. Feel free to rate x/10 as we go.
Step 1(drawing):
Unavailable
Step 2(runway and taxiways):

Airliners piling in already :O

Have you been working on it for 4 days, or has it been saved for 4 days?
Because that only looks like 1 day.

Otherwise, it's a good layout to use, and, if I could suggest something, add a 2nd runway. Even smaller airports usually have more than 1.

Obviously hes been working on it for 4 days. Its harder too biuld then it looks. I love the mass detail you put into the streets, I hope it will turn out nice all together.

I was thinking of that but I'm not sure where to put it.I'll probably add another soon. Thanks though.

Ya, it was hard getting the details. Thanks and me too lol.
Looks awesome.
Thanks.

the blue thing isnt part of the airport, but we just got an atc tower and were playing around. Its fun.
Redundancy ftl D=
Thats means....

It looks nice, but is that the airliner? Wasn't it deemed the apocolypse machine

-snip- Thats means....
You really don't know what redundancy means?

Redundancy:

1. The state of being no longer needed or useful
2. The use of words or data that could be omitted without loss of meaning or function; repetition or superfluity of information

There you go.

--ON TOPIC--
I like the amount of effort you put into the runway. Keep the effort coming and I sense a good build.

Ya, its the only airliner so I decided to just put that up for display.

Thanks, me too.

Anyway, the server is up. We had so much fun yesterday playing pilot. It rocked.

The current runway looks nice but it doesn't look like there's much room for expansion

Is it really spammy? From looking at it the roads look like they took a lot of small plates.

Other than that, the detail is great. Add a boarding area (or whatever you call it) and it should turn out great.

This is really COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like to make airports too.
hey when do you put your sever up at becuse i want to play pilots too.

Bump, sorry for not mo update in awhile, but I'm remaking the blue prints due to loss of knowing what to do next. I want to finish off the taxiways by making parking spots and jetways but its harder than you think : /   I have can't find a good place to place them. I'm almost finished with the 2nd blueprints. Thanks for all the compliments. I will be starting to build again in a couple days. In the mean time feel free to post suggestions.
