Author Topic: Event: Minigame:ChatMsgAll question.  (Read 2379 times)

Is it possible to include the name of the person who activated the event in a Minigame:ChatMsgAll thing. Example, say a person clicked a button in a group RP and in the button it would message all the people in the minigame "So and so has pressed the button!".
Would this be done with like saying %player or is there something special I have to do?

Also I have no precedent as to where a question like this would go, so I am putting it in general discussion.

You can do it everywhere else so probably

But what I am concerned with is that each player would only see their own name instead of the player whom activated the event.

Your right but the only one player activated the brick so only one players name was retrieved

let us know if it works

Yes it does work. %1 shows the name of the person who activated the event.

I think it's useful that way, so at then end of my challenge I can have a button that tells the whole mini game when someone gets to the end.

I'm making a DM that utilizes this. Its kinda  press forward DM, long story, but its looking epic. I'm still waiting for some ship saves to come, but those don't seem to be appearing.
