Author Topic: Decal help  (Read 1594 times)

Whenever I go to make a body decal, it never shows up.
I called it Decal_LoopyShirt.zip and made it a ZIP.
The Image inside was 256x256 .png file.
In the file named "thumbs" was the same picture, scaled to fit 64x64, also a .png
What did I do wrong?

How about you look at the goddamn decals that came with the game instead of making the forum play 20 questions with you.

Are they Progressive PNG's?

As a matter of fact I did that.

Say what? I'm sorry but I'm not very good with file types.

Send me one of your decals. I'll see if it's progressive or not.

The images themselves were OK.

Now the package was a mess...
You should have put the contents of Decal_Juice inside the .zip(and not the folder itself).
Use underscores instead of spaces.

If you still have a problem, you can get the working and tested add-on here:

Hope I helped.

Wait, how did you make the .dt file?

.dt file.... what do you mean?

in the thumbs folder, there was the thumb and a file named thumbs. Is it auto-producing, or manual?

Auto-producing, the extension is most likely .dll, sorry if it caused any inconvenience.

So, was my only packaging problem that all the stuff was inside the folder, which was in the ZIP?

Delete the thumbs.db file.
