Author Topic: Getting Itunes content onto new computer.  (Read 1752 times)

Is there any way to download all my purchased Itunes stuff onto my new computer from Itunes instead of moving stuff between my old one and new one?

I dunno, have you tried logging in on new PC with account?

Yep- Even checked for downloads.

I don't believe so, so just either put the files on a flash drive, or email them to yourself. :)

Or, if you have an iPod, you could sync EVERYTHING to your iPod, and then plug it into your new comp, and sync them to iTunes.

I don't think this will work. You can only be synced to one computer at a time. I had to redo my sync playlist when I install iTunes on windows 7.

If the new computer doesn't have iTunes when you connect your iPod to it, you should be able to just take everything off of it without worrying about stuff being erased.

Buy external hard drive. Export music. Export library .xml. Import music. Import library .xml. Done.

Or just load it all to an ipod and merge the libraries.
