Author Topic: Buffer overrun and 0 by unknown...  (Read 560 times)

Okay two things.
1)i recently dled some addons from the ingame rtb and now whenever i play, it says the buffer overrun message, even when I uncheck the recently dled ones... it works w/o any addons on, though. Maybe a list of recently added but messed up addons?

2) I also have the addon "0" in its own little "0" category. Its made by "Unknown" and when I click view, it says "file not found". What is this? Also, is there any way i can delete stuff that is in my RTB cache, not my normal checklist. I mean DELETE IT, not disable it.

Buffer overun happens with too many add ons or a fasle and messed up script. Good luck finding the problem. I made sum bricks but i messed the script up so it didnt work and thats when i learned the script can cause it too

but it worked b4 i dled the addons

You downloaded some addon that broke your game. Of course it worked before you downloaded those add-ons because one of them is the problem.

Options:
A) Post your console log.
B) Disable the add-ons one by one until it works. Delete the bad one.
C) Reinstall.

any1 know about the "0" addon?

The issue is probably an Add-On with missing textures/sound/CI
I've had this issue but it only happens when I have more than 5-7 that don't work. This also happens with Dedis, and when I'm starting up a Dedi and BL at the same time.

It is actually the map he picked, guys.

Try choosing a different one, then swith in-game.

That is how I fixed it.

Retz please learn what your talking about.

I do know what I am talking about. Gtfo now, troll.

Oh what a wonderful compliment JD but you are wrong for the only reason to cause that in blockland. Is the addons. So you please learn.

If his map is broken it would cause it, but it does not mean this is limited to map only. This can be caused by any broken script file.

Once this happens then we'll see what the problem is.
However, a map is loaded from executing a script, and could have a syntax error, causing a buffer overrun.
