Shadow, how do you position the camera easily and what render settings do you use?

I never use the camera. I use game render mode under a textured setting with perspective on. I can just position my view of the model wherever I want by just maneuvering my view like I normally do then hit P.

How would I go about doing this in blender 2.5? or if you don't know, then 2.49 is fine

I use 2.49b. I never want to convert to 2.5. I tried it once and everything was completely changed. Nothing is like it was on 2.49b.

The only thing that really bothers me in 2.49b is the view, its just, ew, I DO however really like the nice dark shade the models have in 2.49b by default

Siba, fix your mech buddy.

If only 2.58 had a dts exporter...

Battering Ram requested by Redgaijin.
Nice work, but it kinda looks like the ropes at the top are floating, please fix that.

I actually really like it alex.

It's simplicity makes it so amazing to me for some reason.

1. My playertype dissapears if he is just out of view, but can still be seen

2. the root animation only plays like frame 1 and 2 in a split second and loops

Shouldn't LOD be -1 or 100?

Shouldn't LOD be -1 or 100?
I tryed 100, and isnt -1 for a vehicles collision mesh?
EDIT: tryed -1 too, no change

100 should work.

If it doesn't, then you have to use 0.
