Re-did my pancor jackhammer.

give it an actual muzzle instead of just painting the front black
and the front is also upside down

There is also no stock.

Also, with all of my block-style guns I make the entire end of the barrel black. Looks more blocky.

Give your weapons muzzles instead of making them just cylinders.

It's unnecessary to add 100 more polygons just for that.

It's unnecessary to add 100 more polygons just for that.
You act like 100 more polygons is going to end the world.
Maybe a little detail could actually make something look unique and not just a bunch of generic shapes thrown together and called a gun.

Give your weapons muzzles instead of making them just cylinders.
only on guns with large barrels

only on guns with large barrels
I don't see how it would matter how big the gun is.

It's my modeling style. I use it on all my models.

note the difference
They both have muzzles.  Your guns do not.

This is what I mean. There's no indent or black texture, because thats for larger barrels.

Besides, the rocket launcher has no indent. It has a larger barrel then the Pancor.

It has the black texture. I think what you have is fine.
Either one is okay.

The inside darkness of the barrel is outside of the barrel.  How convenient.
