actually i was going to refer to my signature but that too

Aaand now i've hit a wall...

http://www.2shared.com/file/JOmJ2FF9/Manntronics_Communicator.html

I have more space than i know what to do with it, like, i know i should use up all the space i can for better quality and such, but i just don't know how i would do that, i tried, but i ended up having big gaps where pieces used to be and just getting confused in general, i am getting the hang of using seams though

I'm sticking with just half of the model until the UV mesh is done, then i'll copy all but the microphone and mirror it then i can get to texturing it

However, i'm also too obsessed with rotating and mirroring parts of the UV to be accurate with the faces on the model so i'll have an easier time with the texturing

It seems that every modeler at some point drives themselves into a monotonous wall

And then get over it

I think it's because of a lack of ideas.
I'm slowly running out as we speak.

i never run out of ideas he he he!

Most of the models i have posted on the forums.

here
That one in the far bottom right corner looks a lot like Stratos tommy.

Try a Left 4 Dead 2 character, I think it crashes on the expressions file
Yeah I'm not getting anything either. It's missing dx80 files so it can't convert the model itself it seems. There's a newer version of the Blender SMD import tools though.

There's some issues that i can easily fix with some photoshopin', but i think i'm done and am ready to texture it!

This picture is now kind of old, but i've mirrored some of the headphone UVs so that they're facing the right direction

Damn son you want to bake tha ao when it's NOT on scouts head
AO tastes disgusting  though :(

Instead of baking and eating the AO, i'll just delete the Scout's head and re-render the texture

Muuch better!

Turns out baking in a blender tastes better than in an oven! Looks delicious.
