Where did all of you learn how to 3d model? Specifically?

Where did all of you learn how to 3d model? Specifically?
1. Open Blender for the first time. forget this.
2. Lingering thoughts. Try again. Hell no.
3. Later: "I'm going to do this! Video tutorials go!"
4. Learn a little.
5. More.
6. ???
7. Profit. Sometimes literally.

Myself and Demian keeping my trainwerck ass from failing miserably.

I really hate the grip/trigger structure, it looks handicapped.

I wanted to learn how to make a game on Blender. So I learned basic functions from that. I didn't specifically model anything, since I mostly used other peoples models, but in time you learn. It takes patience.

Not really. If you know Python you can make some pretty spiffy games. The engine already has most basic mechanics and Python can fill in the rest. The graphics aren't terrible either.


This is a T+T-style grenade launcher I made in Google SketchUp 8. I seem to be pretty pro in that program.
