Mmmmmm 1926 car! Tomorrow I plan to refurbish and polish the model and add the required stuff to make it be able to work in-game as well if I can!

-snip-

Colour me impressed! Fits nicely with the overall feel of the game

is there a reason exported objs from blender dont retain any texture data? its a fresh install of blender and every obj i export lacks textures. i only want to use blender to triangulate stuff because sketchup is ass at it

its weird, the mtl specifies a proper texture in the proper location, but literally nothing detects it. everything reads the texture as "not found" even though its in its correct location

try exporting to desktop and open the .obj and .mtl from there?

I'm currenty in the process of remaking the entire cab and interior portion of the body along with grouping every mesh together so that it will work ingame. Here's a small picture of the process (the doors are only that color temporarily)

Holy stuff dude that's fantastic!

The part where the hood connects to the cab should slope up to meet the windshield a bit, but other than that it's beautiful

Actually not every car had that type of slope on the hood, especially the early 20s cars. Plus that and I'm kinda new to this so I'd probably screw it up if I tried, and I like how it looks already but thanks!

looks great, do you plan on adding a top to it?

Of course, I've already completed a new top, just I'm working on the interior. The looks like something like this

Mmmmmm, no texture or colors. The car's model is practically done now, I just need to add in the Mount, Hub, and Steering wheel points, and have someone animate it cause if I do it on my own then I know it'll be forgeted up to heaven.
