A gun I made, I was sort of inspired by Sirrus, so I made my own "entrepreneur  my gun" image and made it, sort of turned out a bit cartoonish, but i like it. Its sitting at about 2900 faces.

Two questions
1) What program did you use?
2) Did you take the entrepreneur  My Gun image and apply it to the right side of the gun as a texture?

1:Blender
2:Yes, but if you want to do that, i suggest you make your image like this:

That way you can texture each part on its own and you won't end up with parts of the stock texture on the reciver and such. Plus i find its much easier to model when its like that, because you make each part individually then just put them together at the end.

You misunderstand.

I'm talking in the Blender render, it looks phenomenally good. It also has a black outline around the entire thing. It looks great.

The setup of the render is just a setup of lights i have developed over the time i have been using blender, but the black outline is easy. In the render window, there is a button in the bottom-right, that says: Edge, and next to that, it has Edge Settings. Make sure Edge settings in on about 10. and Edge is on, then render.
