but where the forget the firing pin at? I'm guessing it's in the bolt which you rip out but then when you insert it back in there needs to be a spring that resets the firing pin
The spring is in the bolt as well. Firing pin and sear is engaged when the bolt returns and interfaces with the barrel. In some designs, the firing pin is roostered when the bolt rotates inside the barrel. I don't think there are any cases where the bolt has to hit the back of a track in order to rooster the firing pin.
