 You know I was the first person ever to ever make a 3D model topic, but no one took my models seriously just because I had a student version of Maya.


Engines need more details and to generally look better.

Current Private project, working on one with a turret.

I always though milkshape was harder to learn. When you extrude, it doesn't extrude all the way, you have to fill in some parts. When you select a face, all others behind it are selected. You have to work with tris instead of tris and quads. You cannot edit in 3d view, god how stupid is that.

What's the difference between tris and quads? I mean, besides how many sides they have. Why is it important?

Quads are more efficient to work with and generally work better in editing.
