2,786 polys (The Lumbricus Lid has 4k polys and the Machina has 7k polys, i'm sure my 2k polys are fine)

Yndaaa has done a good job of making a low poly version for players to see from afar, only 593 polys!

Prepare for your examination!

Needs smoother curve on the black tube thingy.

Are you going to send that to valve?

So I just.. uhh.. damn that tail looks horrible.

And with smooth shaded flavor.

If you angle the bottom fin of the tail down lower it might look just a little better.

The tail fin should be thinner, and I'd only iron out the triangulations with the smoothshading.

LOOKS A BIT LOW PHOLY
2,786 polys? I don't know if that's sarcasm...

needs more texture
I suck at textures, but i'll attempt something

Needs smoother curve on the black tube thingy.
More rounded = more polys, i think it looks good how it is, besides

RAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
What the hell did you do to those poor gauss rifles?

What the hell did you do to those poor gauss rifles?

It's the Blood ASP from Mechassault 2 Lone Wolf. PLASMA CANNONS ARE BETTER.

It's the Blood ASP from Mechassault 2 Lone Wolf. PLASMA CANNONS ARE BETTER.
Plasma Cannons operate by transferring large amounts of heat to the target, forcing them to flush coolant, be more careful about firing lasers and missiles, or even shut them down. Essentially, they're gigantic longer ranged flamers. The Blood Asp does not have those.
Plasma PPCs are the stabby-looking charger rays the Blood Asp and Star Adder have, and they're crap. They do such little damage for that dramatic build up.
Then again, being PPCs, they shouldn't even need to charge up in the first place.
