The reflection on the clock face is cool, but you should fix the bells and then remove it from the body.

Fix the bells how? And what do you mean "remove it from the body"?

The reflection

The bell reflections look all crazy mind forget

The default cubemap for Model Viewer is strange and loops even weirder, so that isn't a problem with the model, it's a problem with Model Viewer's cubemap

See? Is all gud!

Still looks too powerful.  Also, I think phong would look nice on the blue part of the clock, and not an env map.

I thought it looked fine since the bells on that kind of alarm clock are very shiny, right?

Phong requires a normal map, the environment map mask can't be used if you're using a normal map, which sucks, but that's what the Valve Developer Wiki said, and i tried anyway, and it didn't work until i removed the normal map

IDEA - Lord Tony

EVERYTHING ELSE - me

I am taking brick requests, and would appreciate it if someone sent me either a model idea, or a new brick idea for BL

try to be creative with your requests, I'm not just gonna make a really simple brick/a brick that cannot be used for anything interesting in BL

I think it would look much better the other way, because so far it looks like you're aiming for a style much like TF2's.

Huh, I thought you could do both, that sucks.

That doesn't look very good, in my opinion.  It just doesn't look right to me when you smooth shaded it half way on a sphere.

It was suggested a couple pages back that I do it like that, and lord tony seems to like it just as it is

Remember, the opposite of what Lord Tony says is what you should do.

Remember, he was the one who suggested I make it

just goes to show that Tony has stuffty ideas.

that looks terrible

What is the opposite of a fruit tree?

Originally, yes, but then Alphadin said to remove the phong, and i thought it looked better, especially now that i can control how the environment map affects certain areas of the model

I could mess around with the strength, but do you have any numbers in mind? The $envmaptint parameter uses 3 float values, one for red, one for green and one for blue, the tint is at [1 1 1], the default value for $envmaptint, i think it can go higher, but you suggest i go lower, so suggest me some numbers and i'll see what works
