Are you going to do the skin textures yourself or get them from somewhere else? I'd grab the texture from somewhere rather than doing them myself.

I really hope more people try to expand on the limbed blockhead concept -- maybe even make a playertype if they're not the lazy kind.

those ankles are a bit low and it generally needs more emphasis on the joints of the limbs

Yeah, I recreated that many years old gif with the bluish rotating yin yang.

Oh and mother of god. I finally found the console in Blender 2.5+. You can drag down the info bar to reveal it. The settings were hidden in 2.49b the same way. That took a year or two.

Aww yeah. I finally found the Blender material test ball. It's pretty and all but it takes forever to render. This one took around 30 minutes. It's a gold material that came with the ball.



I tried doing a liquid but +30mins to render ~90k pixels? How about no.

Creating human skin on a computer is notoriously hard and could ruin a good model. Just saying that your fine model could look better with real textures.
