Do you not know what retopology is? You take the high poly sculpt and from that make a low poly model, which doesn't take long, and is fairly easy to do. Then you bake the highpoly to the low poly model, to create a uv map. Then they look almost exactly the same. It's more accurate, and someones easier then starting with the low poly, then sculpting. It's also easier to add on to it later if you realize you wanted something else added. Don't judge it until you know what your talking out.
It's still the worst work pipeline to go down.

It's still the worst work pipeline to go down.

That's not true. Different people may work more efficiently with a given work pipeline than other people do. I think it really depends on how you initially learn to model.

I'm not cool :(

You people need to educate yourselves on Japanese indie surreal-horror retro-style objective-less games.

What's it called?

Is it the game where there's a blue guy kills the kids?

That's practically its sister game.

The game is called "Yume Nikki". It's got a huge cult following, and I severely recommend it if you like anything horror-ish or Japanese AT ALL. If anything it's at least intriguing.

I can't hear your jellyness over me being cool. It would be a lot more useful if the heightmap wasn't such pixel mush. 1mil quads.
