Why did you use such a high dimension?
A 1024x1024 would have been nicely as well.
Nice render btw.
The higher resolution texture the better. The original was around that size so I would be a moron to degrade the quality.

Just scaled down the normal clip then duped it next to it...

So I replicated the Blender viewport in 3D. Any guesses which is rendered? It's not exactly the same but the lights are so wacky I can't replicate them perfectly.


Bottom one is the render?


The top one has an X shaped shadow on the bottom, the bottom one's shadow looks more normal

It was mostly a guess since i've never actually payed attention to the shading Blender has
