Dat sphere head. I know it's low poly but adding even a little bit of definition or shape to the head helps a lot. This is what a generic humanoid head looks like. The topology isn't perfect but you get the point. Not a sphere.

Of course I know about that. It's just the angle your seeing the head at in that picture.

I'm sorry, Fetusaur, i tried... ;___;

It just looks so weird, mainly the arms, i just can't figure out how to get them to be a rounded cone shape and have it attached to the body without it looking really weird

I've yet to do the outline and textures for the wings and eyes but still, it looks weird

Done with the outline

Some inconsistencies but Milkshape 3D really hates making outlines

i guess you're right

BUT HE'S SO MEAAANNNN :(
hardly

i'm blunt and usually right

BREAK THE FLOOR MUTHRFKCER BRING IT

Looks better now that it has a tail and actual textures (gonna be adding the white spot for the eyes and the line in the middle of the wings)

Is that your ORIGINAL CHARACTER?

I'm gonna tear of Fetusaur's limbs if they keep giving me such a headache...

Oh yeah, i fixed the torso being a tad too long and slightly adjusted the arms

Shouldn't his head connect to his body like it does in your avatar? (no neck)

These are what i'm using for references pretty much

Also, it doesn't have a neck, but the head does not line up with the body, so yeah, the head still needs adjusting, i think it's inconsistent because i started the head with the fifth image and made the rest of the body with the second and fourth image

The Fetusaur in the video it's from is not very consistent either, so it's all very confusing trying to make this 2D creature into a 3D model

I've seen many 2D characters turned 3D and look bad or just weird, though there have been a couple of things were 2D into 3D was done right, i recently played Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations which was really neat and the characters looked great

I honestly have no idea how some people manage to make 2D characters into 3D models that look almost dead on, but i'm quite amazed when i see that

Anyway, i'm gonna see about merging the head with the body, i wanted to do that way earlier but...

I started the head and torso out with spheres, now i've run into an issue where it's gonna be more difficult for me to attach the two objects, i'm most likely gonna have to create some vertexes and such to make the attaching look less terrible

Edit: Fixed up the textures for the eye and the wing, the wing just has a black line at the base to make it blend better with the Fetusaur's back

Double post because i TOTALLY meant to do so!

Anyway, i have made the discovery that Fetusaur's back is flat like the back of it's head as seen here and here

And i also discovered that i can actually use vertexes do make those changes by tracing over certain parts of the model in it's current state and then building from there! I am a genius!
