Taboo, you could have also used the knife tool for cutting. You select the edges you want to cut then press shift+k or whatever it is in the new Blender. Then you click, drag a straight line and click once more to set up the line you want to cut. Once done, press numpad enter. If you press control, the line gets snapped to the nearest vertex.

I didn't know about that haha. That's a much simpler solution in this case for sure.

I do love the knife tool, one of the best tools right next to the shear tool.

knife would have been best for the muzzle block, aye, but the union tool was best for the holes
gonna keep all this mind for future use lol

tacticool
hopefully the whole thing will look a lot less stupid once there's more vertical components to the rifle, because right now it's just a long ass muzzle and like half the basics of a receiver

is that supposed to be some type of gas tube under the handguard
agh, perfect way to burn your hand if it is

what the heck, how do you get that idea
a sliding grip/rail/blade goes there

well i was guessing it was supposed to be an assault rifle i dunno :cookieMonster:
so i guessed it was a set of gas tubes because there weren't any other features that suggested one

It's a bipod.... on an upper rail?

yeah, i don't question it, i'm just working with what i got
it's okay though because once the base gun's done, i'm gonna change all the stuff up to be real stupid, and that bipod is gonna be the first thing to go

lol looks like you're using an airsoft cleaning rod as a bipod

lol looks like you're using an airsoft cleaning rod as a bipod
actual bipod's gonna be gone once i start doing stupid stuff so i wasn't too worried about its proportions

cool dsr
so that's what it is
now i can find way better references, swaggy

using panoramic shots to unwrap one's face

doing this immediately somehow lol
