im curious, would something like this work for an invisible wheel

I'm quite certain the shape of the wheel has nothing to do with how it works, only size. But yeah, that'd work.

Though empty.dts is big i think, because i had to move the hub bones almost more than halfway up my snowmobile so that the vehicle itself would actually be touching the ground instead of hovering
This can also be affected by the spring length. I think the spring starts at the hub bones, not the wheel's normal position.

Correct

i know im replying to an old-ish post but i figure its worth mentioning
4:23 PM - Bushido: there is no possible way that a factory or even a human hand
4:23 PM - Bushido: would have enough manual dexterity to hit the inside of the eye slits or behind the teeth with paint
I mean the general idea is right but you severely underestimate human dexterity.

This forgeter is maybe 4-5cm tall (about the size of a lego minifigure, but proportioned differently) and painted entirely by hand, so yeah. A human hand could have the dexterity to hit the inside of the eye slits or behind the teeth.

The helmet wouldn't look factory-produced or anything, but it would look like a custom piece that somebody made themselves. Which is sort of what he's making in the first place.

I THOUGHT this.

that's it, I'm adding some smaller details to my helmets and bushido can't stop me

Yeah seriously, I was pondering that earlier when he said my weapons were too detailed to fit the game under any circumstance

granted my stuff gets up to 8000+ polygons and looks like they were hand sculpted with the highest intricacy but still, those types of toys exist too, as do action figures, army men, dolls, display figurines...

Eksi's special helmet for his special character gets an excuse because its a unique item (I think it is anyway, might be wrong). Seeing one person on a server with a fancy hat is not the same as seeing a dozen people on a server with overly detailed special snowflake shining super shoot guns.

whoever said I was going to let just any person spawn/use that weapon? it's ridiculously overpowered and is going to be restricted as such, there will be RTB prefs that control literally every aspect of it, including whether or not the absurdly high poly version of the model is displayed

I'm modeling a more conservative-looking version as we speak

EDIT: now that I think about it I should probably make my own UI for controlling those variables instead, I don't really know how many people still HAVE RTB since the servers/site were shut down

thanks eksi

it works

secretly it was always a cardboard cutout in the shape of tank

Is it possible that someone in this thread would be a kind kid enough to make me a vehicle model? I can rip the script from another addon, I just want a model made.

he has a plan special interest for Boeing and Concorde.
