nah i run intel
okay so im lookin to stream this weekend for anywhere between 2 to 4 hours straight. which day do you guys like more?
also please pm me questions or things to do/go over so its not just me doing stuff i need/want to do but actually showing you guys stuff you wanna see. i got some stuff i need to work on but the more questions the better cause its probably better for everyone if i show more than me just doing animations (i got a playertype i need to animate and im saving it for this stream)
the current plan is to just show you guys how to do playertype animations starting with a player model (eg not gonna cover modeling itself) but most people seem interested in either animation or modeling in general and not just specifically playertypes.
I'd be interested for an HD tutorial on how to get a simple model in game, step by step instructions including but not limited to:
*version of blender/modeling software and where to get it
*the steps used to create a model
*how to package the model for use in game
*troubleshooting etc.
I haven't found a video that displays all those traits and it seems that conventional trial and error only deters players from trying to model in the first place. If they had a template, say a supposed video mentioned above, i'm pretty sure we'd see more polished mods from old and new users appearing with time.
i could do that but that would take an hour alone, not including the model part
there's a ton of things that can happen and a bunch of things to watch out for, and everyone's workflow is different. it would probably be better just to cover how exactly to model and how to navigate blender and then do a q/a session afterwards covering problems people have with certain models.
edit: this is my first time streaming but yeah i got obs and will be using twitch to stream
maybe set up a discord/teamspeak for voicechatting as well if you guys prefer that over asking questions over twitch chat/chat in general. since this isn't some big public thing id prefer things to be casual and everyone watching to be involved and not just watching.
