if you want to make models for bl addons i'd say go with blender. if just modeling in general, then me and all my bias recommend google sketchup for its ease of use and versatility, especially if you're a drafter of any sort. to my experience blender requires tutorials to become proficient in - which i never enjoyed lol - but you can just pick up sketchup, get the hang of the basics pretty quick, and learn more advanced techniques/tools on your own as you go

Almost done with this car RallyBlock suggested, it just needs new wheels, wheel wells, and steering wheel

I finished the car finally and I'm very happy about it, it's one of the best car's I've been able to make yet and it's awesome
