Author Topic: Port Forward Won't Work  (Read 1809 times)

Ok well I followed the guide and youtube videos on how to portforward blockland. I even tried portforward.com. Now when I'm logged into linksys and I set everything up the way it should be, I click save settings and this comes up:
Code: [Select]
This webpage is not available.

The webpage at http://172.16.120.1/PortRange.tri might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

What the heck do I do?

there is like 100 threads to help you...

I also have a Westell box (DSL) connected to my linksys router.

Srry for the double post but I fixed it, I had to use IE to save the settings.

soo srry for the triple post, but ppl still cant join my server! Is it because I dont have two DNS servers? in command prompt it obly shows one.

Maybe you shouldn't change your router's IP address.

I didnt though...It saves changes now but when I enter the stuff like 28000-28030 and stuff ppl still cant join my server and I dont know if its not working or if they dont wanna join but I hung out at one of mine for a while and no one joined.

o holy crap, someone shares my problem
 :panda:

Really? I only have 1 DNS server, I have DSL so I have to connect my Linksys WRT54GS to my Westell 6100 and I port forwarded Blockland for both but still ends up dead. I tryed portforward.com but with my IP numbers it confuses me and I don't know if I have to do something in McAfee,Windows Firewall Ad-ware SE (not ad-Aware, the virus) or Dell PC tune-up. But can someone please help me and tell me what other things, other than port forwarding I need to do to my routers? Cause My IP addresses arn't what it's supposed to be since I have two. Yes this is a very BIG problem but please help me.

My favorite tip: Forward ports under 10000 and then set it as yor port in Blockland.

I meant: Any port under 10000.

So set the ports to 28000-10000?

No edit butten. I have it on Automatic Configuration-DHCP (my linksys)
