Almsot everything happens to deal with things people ahve been going through in real life recently. IE hamsters dieing, abusive moms, lousy neighbors, and of course the girl advice stuff threads.
What the hell is going on guys?

I hypothesize that when one endless series of stuff is displaced, another form is created to take it's place.

Similarly, the off-topic is like a sinkhole drawing in all the crap that isn't attracted to more appropriate sub-forums.
