Add on Problems on Mac

I know there have been stuuf with add on problems throughout the forum, but it doesn't help.
I know how to open addons, i get to the add ons folder and there is everything, most of it is in seperate folders within the whole add on folder. But i somehow can't get them to work. I hope some can explain plz.

Okay, what you need to do is simple. This is the foolproof way to get add-ons to work.

1. Download the add-on.
2. You should have a .zip file, such as Vehicle_Minijet.zip or Event_Zones.zip .
3. Drag the file into the folder titled "Add-Ons" located in your Blockland folder.
4. Open up Blockland and go to the Add-Ons button, then enable Vehicle_Minijet or Event_Zones.

Now, unless you actually have a problem, this should work.

I WILL REPEAT, THERE ARE FOLDERS IN THE ADD ON FOLDER FOR EVERY ADD ON, BUT I CANT OPEN ANY OF THEM

No, i have .zips for the ones that are automatically with the game. The rest are .dts or .pngs in folders. So Isjix is partially right.

Those are files you've downloaded by joining other servers, ignore those.

Right click and press "Compress [insert folder name]"
In case you don't know for some reason, on Mac right click is two-finger clicking (if its fairly new) or command-click

I have older mac so i have 1 button. command/apple click works. I'll try it

Ok i tried, but that wouldn't anything. the option wasn't there.

Pay attention to Ephi, those are addons downloaded from servers, not the forums. They're temp files, and as such, won't work in your game. You must actually download them from the forums, insert the folders into the addons folder, and enable them in-game in order for them to work.

What the hell, are you telling me Aviator Helmet, Misty Mountains, AK47 and all that crap cannot be put on my own server cause i can't download it on my own but with some elses server?
This is weirder than finding out you girlfriend's your sister or something. O_o

I figured it out and im am telling how for ppl who want to know in the future.
Step1, go to the Add-ons forum.
Step2, Find a thread of an addon you would like
Step3, The first post will have a download link to it, click
Step4, It's on you desktop. Open the blockland folder and put it in Add-ons.

If there is a folder with it, i don't know what it will do if you put it in addons, but go ahead.

My first add-on was a map; Slate 2.
