Author Topic: Problem with Blockland key on Macs.  (Read 1088 times)

I, don't have a Macintosh. I'm a lover of windows, but, a friend of mine decided to make the big decision and bought Blockland. But sadly, the joyful moment was ruined when he tried to put in the key, he has the Mac version of Blockland, but the Key doesn't work. Help?

He most likely put it in wrong, I'm on a mac I have no problems here.

Hes done it like, a million times, even cut an' pasted it.

Make sure EVERYTHING is perfect. If you still fail:

Go eat some humility cake.

Try putting they key into your computer, copying the key.dat file, and then putting it into his blockland.

If I may... Macs have no problem with the keys. I've been faithfully using the same key for... 7 months now. If it no longer works, then tell your friend he fails hard at macs.

Well, he just bought the key, and it never works, anyway, he doesn't know anything about computers, so he may have just installed Blockland wrong.

The key.dat file has been specifically designed so that this will not work.

So sad. You're in here yet you don't help him.

Make sure that you put the key in right.

What am I supposed to do?  Go over to his house and type it in for him?  I have personally tested this stuff on something like 40 different computers and it works just fine.  If it doesn't work for you, there are two options:

1.  You are typing it in wrong.  Copy and paste should avoid this.
2.  You have broken your computer in some way such that Blockland cannot write to the hard disk or access the internet.  There are so many ways people manage to do this that I just cant help you.  Permissions, security software, read-only drives, etc.

That's better.
