The bug hardly gives you any benifit, its just the same as luring rocket orcs.
Ive stopped doing it now, as people figured out a way to stop them spawning.
Most people enjoyed the temporary change to the town too.
Also, its really hard to pull off, hard to find out, and requires you to buy a new horse each time, so I cant see it ever becoming a major threat.
Sure, the bug should probably be fixed soon, but whats the harm in having some fun while we wait...
1: Let's start with this line. "The bug hardly gives you any benifit, its just the same as luring rocket orcs."
It's not the same as luring them, because in luring you make repeated trips. With this, all you have to do is sit around and let them spawn, and watch civilians flee in a panic. Sounds rather malicious to me.
2: "Most people enjoyed the temporary change to the town too."
Even if that is true, there are people that didn't enjoy it... And just because YOU enjoyed it, doesn't mean everybody else enjoyed it. You need to be 100% positive of what you're saying before you say it.
3: "Also, its really hard to pull off, hard to find out, and requires you to buy a new horse each time, so I cant see it ever becoming a major threat."
Regardless, in a game infested with malicious evildoers, this would be purposely done even if severely difficult, which would eventually lead to people leaving the game either temporarily, or cracking and leaving permenantly. This, in my opinion, is a major threat, and i'm sure that badspot will agree.
4: "Sure, the bug should probably be fixed soon, but whats the harm in having some fun while we wait..."
It's fun for you and not for others, even is some did enjoy it, theres that cluster of people that didn't. This is comparable to a medium threat level virus on a computer, and should not be allowed to continue.
Edit: CNN? I don't think i'm going that far. I think listening to music from the 24 original soundtrack is helping, though. >_>
