Well i just got my tablet and started to mess around in Photoshop elements 5 nad made this alien thing based on elites in halo.

Try using a program that actually recognizes that you have a tablet.

You'll get much more out of it.

Try Autodesk SketchBook Pro (has a 15 day trial),
and Corel Painter (usually this comes with a wacom tablet)

I kind of figured it had tablet support, but he obviously didn't use size control.

I used Photoshop elements 5. I just had tablet settings off, and I'm also using the Bamboo Fun.

I've had a 4x6 Intuos tablet (waaay more expensive than Bamboo, sadly), and got PSE 6 and Corel Painter Essentials (less expensive than a tablet). The best freeware software that is automatically tablet-sensetive is Pencil, which simulates a pencil drawing, and also uses vectors.
