Author Topic: Server list is dead. (Read 1753 times)

A few days ago I got wireless internet. When I tried to join a game Blockland searched for servers, but when it tried to get their ping, they were counted as dead. It's really annoying. I've set Norton to always allow Blockland, but it doesnt work. Anyone know what to do?

If you are running Windows firewall:

Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall.

On the Exceptions tab, click 'Add Port...' and enter the details:
Name: blockland
Port: 28000
TCP/UDP: TCP

Do it again, but this time click UDP, see below:

Name: blockland
Port: 28000
TCP/UDP: UDP

While you are there, check to see if Blockland.exe is on the list. If it isn't, click 'Add Program...' and search for Blockland.exe and add it.

It seemed to not matter whether windows firewall was on or off, but this fixed it.
I am not sure what to do for vista, but shouldn't be too different.

More info: I'm sharing a 2mbit/s connection with another computer.

i use Winows Vista and its the same for the Controls

Whats that? Btw, my internet works really fine, a bit slower than normally though because its shared with another computer.

Sometimes it succeeds to ping one server.
