The speeder model doesn't look half bad, although isn't really suited to blockland. I'm just wondering why you can accept that peice of stuff droid as a playermodel if you (Not too sure that you actually did make it) can create something like that.

Thank you for the comment. Yes I still am going to take away some verticies to make it look "blockland" style.

One thing I'd like to see is maybe a laser or turbolaser turret, and maybe recreate the old TIE Fighter and X-Wing vehicles. Looks awesome thus far.

The TIE Fighter, if we decide to do either of those, would be the more likely choice.
@John, you do know that the Blockhead player model is even simpler than the droid model?
And plus, before you start bitching at us about us being bad at doing stuff, do me a favor and top the Speeder Bike we're working on.

Totally doesn't look stolen off a Star Wars fan model website, we went through that faze a long time ago, I wouldn't try to pull that crap now. How many polys? Couple of thousand?

Yeh, I'm with packer, that model is stolen. There is no way in hell you can have a player model that looks like that, and a vehicle which looks the way the speeder does. It just doesn't match. Plus, the player model would be even easier to model then the speeder.

And JD, the blockland minifig may be alot more simple then the droid, but it's a WELL MADE model and probably uses half the polys the droid does, because it's mostly comprised of one shape, not a forgetload of primitives. Your droid however, looks like you put it together with your eyes closed. Overlaping stuff all over the place, and attempts to add detail which just look like mis-placed boxes.

Haha, that model is "stolen?" It's called skill. Something you don't have.
I modeled the droid. Bosch modeled the speeder.

Yeah you're right, someone else made it not from the Blockland community.

You're right, I don't have modeling skill. I'm a scripter. But I'll model a better player then you anyday ;)

Edit: My reasoning for the model looking stolen is that no-one that is a respectable modeler in any form puts that much detail when they know this game has priority set on Low poly models, something you don't know about. I've constructed a few models, and you go through the model in stages. You don't make it extremely high detail, only to reduce it later. That's just impractical.

@ Packer, I never said it was my skill.
@John, Bosch is a very respectable modeler. Just because a single model isn't "bloko" doesn't mean nobody could use it. Since when were Halo, Star Wars, and other models bloko?
Never.
The only game which has the bloko style is Blockland. It can be very practical. He could very easily use it for something else.

When did I ever say nobody would use it? Obviously the person he stole it from uses it.

Bosch didn't steal it, friend.

So you did the dirty-work?

Now that's skill!

I could've sworn I already said I didn't steal it.
And plus, just because you type 5 sentences here and there does not mean we're going to stop doing anything.
