Weapons don't spawn at spawn point bricks. Spawn Point bricks are meant to spawn players in minigames. To spawn weapons make any normal brick (not a spawn point) and get your wrench out and click on it. Now click the Items button and choose which weapon to spawn. Then hit Ok. It should appear.
