How dare you reactor worker.

You forgot smaller computers. Without space we would not have computers.
Computers were invented before space exploration...

and improved during, wait doesn't that already happen?

I hate the sea, humans where not meant to swim with tha fushes.

so because progress is slow we should stop trying all together?

the future isn't in a million new species of fish we can document.
Not necessarily. We could learn about how they defend themselves from the elements, and we could also learn about how they fight disease.
Not to mention we could also learn how to make weapon technology--night vision, and possibly high-powered air guns.

And sea has no combine and brutes and elites and all those good aliens I luv to kill :D

We already know how to do that stuff. Ocean is useless now. On to space!

Ocean is BOORING, Plus, The space has SO MANY COOL ADVENTURES :D

A.K.A-->

A.K.A -->

There isn't enough room in the ocean for massive warships  :cookieMonster:
Well I guess technically there is but it would overflow and we would drown... :|

Can we on on the internet through the sea? nope. Space= Internets, and the more Internets, the more research sites will be out there.

Don't forget Tang. Mmm orange juice.

Did I hear you say orange?

Currently I'd say the ocean is a better bet for biological research. (Until we find another planet with life, that is.)

Can we on on the internet through the sea?
Sounds painful

I think of it this way, we are back in the 18th century "1700" and every planet is an island or continent. Just like 200 years ago it took months or years to travel by sea. But now we have airplanes that get us there in hours. And at this moment every shutle is like a slow ship that moves slowly through space, and in the future we will have technology that will get us to planets or stars in hours.

Life is a beautiful thing if you are open minded.

A nice brown townogy, but the Space Shuttle isn't designed to leave Earth's orbit. Even if you retrofitted some kind of auxiliary booster to propel it fast enough it would be hugely wasteful. Why heave around a huge heat shield and wings and all that waste when a simple capsule will suffice?

Almost all of the cables that allow the internet to exist run under the sea. Without the technology developed to map the sea floor, it would be nigh on impossible to lay the cable in a safe manner.

Discover new species in sea, and then hunt them until they extinct. No thanks.
Let's go to SPACE!

NASA us working on a engine that is plasma propelled and the cool thing about it is that it will get us to mars in two months not eight.
