Being happy that you're now going to be able to get money is one thing.  But finding pride in killing a living creature, for your own gain, is another.

I'm saying that actually killing the animal that you've been following for 2 - 4 hours is a great feeling and there is no reason not to be proud.

Just think about this: A game hunter kills a moose/deer/whatever for food and is proud of himself, nothing wrong here right? Now, Annoying Orangehet kills an animal to re-gain his food and is proud of himself, wtf is wrong with that? Both of these examples provide the hunter with food. Both of these examples require the killing of animals...

Alos, sport hunting is just plain stupid. You track some poor thing for several hours, shoot it, then carry it home. And then you can say "Hay look I found this thing and I killed it!" and people are achally impressed. Killing a living thing for fun. Shame on you.
